Board layout

Looking down on the board:

• The ICD connector is in the top left, next to the two red debugging LEDs.
• The regulator is in the bottom left with the green power LED.
• The PIC is in the centre, with the oscillator crystal and capacitors below.
• The MSF demodulator is in the top right, connected to the antenna.
• The contrast preset resistor is in the bottom right.

Notes

• The battery wires are fixed to the regulator for support.
• The LCD display is behind the circuit board, connected via the yellow wires.
• The LCD has a back light, which is not used.
• I didn't mount the circuit in a box as I'll probably reuse the parts at some point (and I think it looks quite cool).
